What types of videos can you make?
Product videos, commercials, event aftermovies, music videos, weddings, livestreams, reports, online courses, documentaries, property tours, corporate presentations etc. Anything is possible.
What camera equipment do you use?
I have my own basic setup for smaller projects - I shoot on a SONY Alpha 7s III camera with large set of prime and zoom lenses, lavalier and directional microphones, LED lights (also in the RGB version), a stabilizer, slider, grips, filters and other accessories. I use my beloved Panasonic GH5 as a backup camera for two-camera setups. For larger projects I use film rentals.
What happens after I contact you?
I'll listen to the idea first. And then I turn it inside out. To better understand the product and the target audience, together we dig deep into your ideas and refine it into a clear vision. Then its only a matter of agreeing on timing and budget and we can start working.
Do you work alone or in a team?
Both.
For smaller projects, I can handle everything myself from the first contact with the client to the final edit and distribution of the video. It's cheap, efficient, and perfectly adequate for smaller companies and startups.
For more demanding projects, I have talented and reliable colleagues with whom we can do magic better than Hogwarts graduates.
Do you mind traveling for work?
Not at all. I love traveling and wouldn't mind traveling anywhere in the world. I don't see it as a burden, but rather an advantage.
Long-term cooperation or one-time projects?
I have both in my portfolio and enjoy both for different reasons. I have my long term clients, with whom I have been working for many years. We know what to expect from each other, they invite me to their Christmas parties and became good friends and business partners.
On the other hand, a person grows mainly thanks to new challenges, so I'm happy when someone new calls me, we start to know each other and work on something new together. In most cases, the one-time projects turn out to be a long-term collaboration later anyway.
How much does it cost?
The most frequently asked question, yet a very tricky one. It's like buying a car. You can get a used one for €1,000 or a luxury car for €10,000. It's the same with videos. Is it a TV ad or social media? Does it feature professional actors or company employees? How many shooting days, locations and crew members do we need? Who comes up with the script? What about camera equipment, special effects, animations and music? All of this constitutes the final price.
So, either the client tells me their budget and I suggest the best solution for the given price. Or they clearly communicate the idea to me - for example by showing me a competitor's video and answer my additional questions so that I can come up with a price range, which we will then cross-check and finalize together.
